Python For Business - A 4-week independent-study online non-credit course
The Python for Business course developed by FinHub, Rotman's Financial Innovation Lab is intended for students with little or no Python knowledge. Python is a language that has made it easy to manage and analyze big data sets and Python skills are in high demand. The course is open to Rotman students registered in the MBA, MFRM, and MFin programs.

Students can expect to finish this module by devoting approximately 6 hours a week to it over four weeks. By the end of the course, students will be able to understand basic Python programming syntax, data structures, and control flows as well as utilize Pandas and NumPy libraries to clean, explore, and analyze real-world data.

MBA & Morning/Evening MBA Students
Full-Time MBA students can enroll in the course starting in Term 3 of their program. Morning/Evening MBA students can enroll in the course starting in Term 4 (Fall year 2) of their program. Completion of the pre-work does not guarantee entry into the electives.
